Rituals to Know About Pitru Tarpan Pooja

Hindu Dharma is full of religious rituals. In Hindu Dharma there are significant rituals and for each aspect of one’s life. What is Tarpan?

Tarpan word deprives from Sanskrit word ‘TRUP’ which means satisfying or pleasing others. Pitru Tarpan is a way of gratifying one’s ancestors. It is also meant to free the ancestors from any unfulfilled desires. So they can complete their journey with peace, satisfaction, happiness and move forward.

Objectives of Tarpan

Methods to perform Tarpan
